Refund policy
Last updated 31 October 2026.
First payment
You can ask for a full refund within 14 days of your first subscription payment, for any reason. This means the first transaction of your first subscription, not the first payment of a later subscription. Refunding that payment closes paid access.
If you have Paddle credit left after a plan change, we reduce the refund of your first payment so the refund and remaining credit together do not exceed the total you paid, less any earlier refunds. The refund can never exceed your first payment.
Renewals
Monthly renewals are not refunded once the new period has started. Cancel before the next billing date to stop future charges.
Exceptions
We refund duplicate charges, payments for a service we did not provide, confirmed billing errors, and anything else the law in your country requires. An upgrade top-up is considered under these exceptions, including when paid within the first 14 days; it is not the first subscription payment.
Payments after account deletion
If Paddle records a payment as paid after account deletion begins, we automatically request a full refund without you asking. The refund is complete only when Paddle approves the full amount. If Paddle rejects it, we handle the case manually. Earlier payments follow the general rules above.
How to ask
Email hello@workbookapi.com with the account email, the date of the payment and the reason. Do not send card numbers. Payments are processed by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, which issues approved refunds to the original payment method; bank processing times vary.
