Who we are

WorkbookAPI is a service of SOV17 LLC, Yerevan, Armenia. hello@workbookapi.com.

The service

WorkbookAPI recalculates Excel workbooks outside Excel and compares the results with the values Excel saved. The check on this site is free and runs in your browser; your file is not uploaded. Paid plans give access to a hosted API that calculates scenarios from your workbook models, within the plan's limits on models and scenarios per month.

Early access

Before general availability, features, limits and prices may change; we tell you before a change to a plan you pay for takes effect.

Free trial

The trial lasts 14 days from email confirmation, with 1 model and 1,000 scenarios and no card required. Workbook size, calculation time and other published API limits apply. Trial calls may pause when the service's trial budget is reached; paid plans are not paused for that reason.

Your workbooks

You keep all rights to your workbooks and data. You must have the right to upload and use each workbook. Do not upload personal data about other people. We process workbooks you send to the hosted API only to provide the service to you. A browser check does not upload your workbook or authorize a hosted upload. See the privacy policy.

Results

We report where a workbook's results differ from Excel's saved values, but we do not guarantee that every result matches Excel. Check results before you rely on them for financial, legal or other decisions.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service for unlawful content or purposes, try to disrupt or overload it, access it beyond your plan's limits, or resell access without our written agreement.

Payments and subscriptions

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders and issues approved refunds. Send refund requests to our support at hello@workbookapi.com; we receive the request and arrange it with Paddle under our refund policy. Subscriptions renew each month until cancelled. You can cancel at any time, with cancellation taking effect at the end of the current billing period. Change your plan in the dashboard.

Moving to a higher or lower plan takes effect immediately. When you move to a higher plan, Paddle charges for the remaining part of the billing period. Your scenario quota and processor time cap for this period increase in proportion to the time remaining, just like the extra charge. When you move to a lower plan, Paddle credits the unused part of the billing period to your balance. This credit goes toward future payments and is not paid out in cash. Your scenario quota and processor time cap for this period decrease in proportion to the time remaining. The new plan's full limits apply from your next renewal.

Access ending and deletion

We delete hosted models, versions, snapshots, interfaces and reports from primary storage 30 days after access ends unless you resume with a subscription. Deleting your account ends access and cancels the subscription immediately.

Content you delete becomes unavailable immediately; a deletion task erases the files from primary storage. A file whose in-flight write completes later is never available and is erased no later than 2 days after it appears. Backup copies expire no later than 30 days after each was made. These per-object deadlines do not promise one erasure deadline from your request for every copy. See retention and deletion.

If Paddle records a payment as paid after account deletion begins, we automatically request a full refund without you asking. It is complete when Paddle approves the full amount; if Paddle rejects it, we handle the case manually. Earlier payments follow the general refund policy.

Liability

The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, SOV17 LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and its total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months before the claim.

Ending the service

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms, and will refund unused prepaid time if we end the service for reasons other than a breach.

Changes

We may update these terms and will post the new date above; material changes to paid plans are notified by email first.
